What an amazing luncheon meeting we had on September 30! Speaker Stephanie McDilda gave an entertaining and inspirational talk on living your dream from your heart! We learned about a new service from Michelin OnSite, a NAWBO-Raleigh sponsor that replaces tires at your location so you may use your time most efficiently. And, we kicked off our Social Media Contest!
Sharing, liking, commenting, tweeting and posting valuable information on NAWBO-Raleigh’s various social media sites increases your company’s visibility, too! It’s easy to do and monthly winners will win a $50 gift from a sister NAWBO-Raleigh member, announced at our luncheons and socials throughout the year. The grand prize winner will receive a Mini iPad 2, donated by Sarah Glova of Reify Media, to be announced at the June 2016 installation dinner. For more contest information, see the banner below.
Be sure to join us on Oct 22 at Clouds Brewing for our Fall Social from 5:30-7:30pm. And we are honored to have Ross Harris, Executive Director of the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership, with us on Nov 18 to speak about “Why Women Don’t Run for Office.”
And if you’d like to have a small group of fellow members serve as your business’s quasi-advisory board, consider attending the Round Table information session on Oct 15. 5-6pm. Round Tables are one of the best NAWBO member benefits and they are free!
